Dear friends,

I am happy to be the new Associate Pastor of our collaborative cluster of Dodge East. My name is Fr. Edwin Kornath, born in Milwaukee, and ordained 40 years ago for our Archdiocese. My home parish is St. Josaphat Basilica on the southside of Milwaukee. I attended grade school there, made all my sacraments there, and celebrated my First Mass there. After public High School, and Milwaukee Area Technical College, and work at Ladish Company in Cudahy, the Heil Company in Milwaukee, and K-Mart in Milwaukee, I entered college seminary at Loyola University in Chicago, then St. Francis de Sales Seminary, being ordained May 18th, 1984.

I served as Associate Pastor in West Allis (St. Rita and St. Aloysius) and Butler (St. Agnes). As a Pastor, I served in Campbellsport (St. Matthew), Waterford (St. Thomas Aquinas), Kewaskum (Holy Trinity and St. Michael), Brookfield (St. John Vianney), and Administrator of our cluster parishes Of St. Mary, St. Andrew and St. Theresa. As of June 18th, I'll be Associate Pastor of Dodge East.

You all will be my family since I have no siblings and mom and dad are in eternity. I look forward to meeting you. Together, we will do good things to build the Kingdom of God.

Blessings,

Fr. Ed Kornath
